Oregon Photographer Rachel Hadiashar featured in a magazine that was distributed throughout the state
I was recently reminded of the feature we had in Fifty Plus Magazine, which was distributed to libraries and high end grocery stores throughout the Portland Metro area – and another edition for Willamette Valley.
They did a little bio sketch about me and also talked about the project I had photographing women over the age of 50. Over the course of two calendar years, I interviewed and photographed 100 women whose cumulative life experience equals 5,889. I am so proud of this master collection as well as the wonderful stories and quotes that emerged from the vivacious women.
For the sake of journalism, Robyn agreed to allow some onlookers at her session with me, including a writer and another photographer. Maggie Green, the stylist was there as well. Robyn and I laughed quite a bit about all those people in the smaller studio room we were using at the time. We had a lot of fun with it.
