“‘The expert at anything was once a beginner.’ I use this a lot with my children who get upset when they aren’t perfect the first time out and want to give up.”
Living her life dedicated to compassion, faith, and love, Cathy is passionate about Jesus, her children, and those around her. Although she has had many significant points of change in her life, she credits many of them to her faith, which allows her to share her faith with others and deepen her own faith.
Cathy is incredibly observant in her day-to-day life and enjoys taking in the colors, textures, sights, and sounds of the environment around her. Finding strength in reflection, Cathy “mulls over where she had been, where she was, and where she is going.”
In her free time, Cathy likes to crochet, quilt, read, do puzzles, decorate cakes, and do all things crafty. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and finds joy in watching relationships deepen with time. Cathy’s advice to her younger self: “Don’t simply endure – embrace.”
