With long easy strides and a friendly smile, Sari enters the room, confident of her place in it. Open eyes and an easy laugh belie the walls built long ago to keep her sense of self safe. Now, at nearly 60, she no longer cares what others think. The only approval she needs these days is her own.
As a fiber artist, Sari enjoys working with her hands to create art, and enjoys the process of constantly learning more about her craft. Fiber art requires her to empty her mind, slow down, and lose herself in the process. She is passionate about spinning, and says teaching others to love the craft is magical.
