Kim Boaz, 50

“Entering my 50’s has taught me this is a new season in my life. A season to embrace life to the fullest. I find my husband and friends having a much closer bond as we age and share our getting older stories – more laughs and not taking life so seriously.”

Kim Boaz at 50

“Don’t look back – you’re not going that way.” A Facebook post that was one of the last posts Kim’s mom had published not long before passing. No matter what life brings Kim, she continues to look forward. Kim is the genuine, loyal, and thoughtful woman she is today who works hard, plays hard and loves even harder. An Oregonian, Kim was born and raised in Eugene, then later moved to Portland being a city girl at heart. Someone who loves to chase dreams, Kim once had her sights set on being a wedding planner or even owning a Bed and Breakfast to host weddings outside. Life had its own plan, and Kim now owns her own successful bookkeeping business for the past 15 years, where she has had the opportunity to live vicariously through clients who own Airbnb properties. Socially infectious, Kim has also started a networking group to connect with other professionals in her field and enjoys sharing her knowledge & experience to help others live their dreams.

Kim shares that her generation is one that drank out of hoses, ate raw cookie dough, curfew was at dusk and seatbelts were optional – yet they are still alive to tell all about it. With age, Kim has come to view attractiveness in a new light. She finds beauty in her relationship of 20 years with her husband, raising her two teenage boys, to and in her tribe of close girlfriends (their smiles, skill at what they do, real and honest conversations and being willing to allow her to help or be of help themselves).
