Loyal, compassionate, and kind, Julia Alicia has been trained as a nurse and now working as a legal assistant in Immigration, making a positive contribution in many families’ lives. She loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as making a difference in her community. She believes in living life to the fullest, loving passionately, and that one should always keep laughing. Throughout her life, she has found wisdom in the ability to not worry about gaining the validation of others and instead has focused on her accomplishments and demonstrating to her children that anything is possible.
Faced with a progressing condition of Multiple Sclerosis, Julia Alicia bravely looks to the future with humor and grit. “We do what we can. I’m taking it day by day – you have to find something funny to get through the day.”
