To Norma, being attractive is being a decent person with a kind, inclusive heart: one who treats all with equity, dignity and respect regardless of age, race, religious beliefs and life preferences. We are all collectively the human race. In her desire to see this form on a wider level, Norma does her part, living each day as an individual who is caring, empathetic, and enjoys helping others. In assisting others, being loyal and strong is what Norma excels with in life. If it was possible for her to help her 20-something self, Norma would advise, ‘Don’t take it! Don’t let them dictate to you who you are or should be. Live up to your own expectations and not everybody else’s!’ Even though the most beautiful Norma has felt in life is when she was pregnant with her daughter, that was also a major revelation in her life, realizing how much everyone around had bullied her throughout life to do what benefited them or having her be the version they desired to have as Norma.
The passion to help others led Norma into customer service. She thrived in assisting others, but loathed being censored, critiqued, and criticized. Nowadays, she has the freedom to work at being her own boss. Norma is in control of her schedule to come and go as she pleases with deliveries, odds and ends jobs, and always harbors the ‘learn on the job’ attitude to keep moving forward. Life did not start out easy for Norma, and continues to throw challenges in the path of this kind hearted soul including a run-in with a hurricane. Despite obstacles, Norma is eager to live life for herself and begin her own life story. She is deeply dedicated to supporting the Seahawks, and can crochet probably anything you request of her.
