“I care about everyone and the world. I want to do my part to make the world a better place. Not just from an environmental place, but from the way we treat one another as human beings.”
Dedicated to serving and supporting her son, friends, and family, Iris’ greatest joy is giving to others. Shaped by a difficult upbringing, she has overcome many obstacles throughout her life and credits these challenges to her success and happiness today. Hardworking, intelligent, and independent, Iris started her own business in 2015 and enjoys training and supporting her employees.
Outside of work and family, Iris enjoys acrylic pour painting and photography. Constantly seeking knowledge, Iris is fascinated with architectural history and preservation as well as Native American art and culture. She recently visited Chaco Canyon in New Mexico and was amazed by the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Native Americans from centuries ago.
With newfound confidence, Iris feels strong, successful, and beautiful. She loves life and is looking forward to her future, spending time with her son, running her business, and planning for eventual retirement.
Iris’ advice to her younger self: “Do not judge the journey by the path you are now on.”
Iris now: “Positivity breeds positivity, just as negativity breeds negativity. Practicing positive thinking and action brings positive rewards.”
