“What you can accomplish at any age all depends on your health. Eighty is not the end of your life if you’ve taken care of yourself!”
Empathetic, caring, and honest, Kay is an incredible friend and is very family oriented.
She and her BFF have been friends since second grade! She always has funny things to say – with a great sense of humor she puts herself out to be friendly, and finds that people reciprocate in kind.
Kay’s two daughters Vicki and Stacey planned a raucous trip to Vegas to celebrate her recent 80th birthday. She has found that with age, her confidence has grown. Her motto is: “If you want something done right, do it yourself!” She enjoys gardening and reading and is not afraid to get her hands dirty.
Kay’s advice to her younger self: “Try to be more outgoing! Try not to be so shy that you’re afraid to voice your opinion on things! You can accomplish more when you’re a little more outgoing.”
Kay today: “I am absolutely overwhelmed with my computer and all this high tech because we didn’t grow up with it. I feel like a dinosaur. It’s just a whole different world.”
