Angela Braxton-Johnson, 54

“I would love to show that women over 50 can be bold, beautiful and sexy at any size; that they can reinvent, rebuild and rebrand – basically start over in their careers and be successful, even more successful than they were when they were younger! That we are living our best embodied lives!”

“I am courageously aging
From princess to queen
Taking up space
Ready to be seen
While dealing with feelings
And finally healing.”

-Angela Braxton-Johnson, ‘Abundant FATness’

Angela Braxton-Johnson is a creative artist and woman of faith who is vibrantly taking up space through all of her marginalized intersections. She is a professional life coach, author, poetess and educator. Angela is the wife of Alvin Johnson, Sr. whom she married on her 20th birthday, thirty-five years ago.
