‘You are made of stardust and the world is your playground.’
Wendy regards the world as her playground to grow and flourish as a ‘formidable’ woman. A word not often used to describe females. She moved through life confidently (at least on the outside) and others often perceived her as aloof or ‘scary.’ An entrepreneur, Wendy owns a roofing company and has worked with tenacity for over 15 years. She thrives on generating new processes and teaching. There is a light at the end of the tunnel with all of the battles and dedicated work put into development within Wendy’s company, that soon the company will sail smoothly – fruits of her labor.
Wendy treasures independence, her children, friends and cats; “stuff” isn’t that important. She values confidence – no longer having to apologize for being powerful and not tolerating hypocrisy and BS. While others may perceive Wendy’s generation as strong, feral and selfish, she would love to smash the myth that aging for women is a negative concept. She feels this 50+ is the time that wisdom and power rise up, along with an unapologetic stepping into your own soul. A grand achievement for Wendy has been not only surviving but thriving in a male-dominated industry. She has an ambition to franchise her company and form her own foundation, all while authoring a book on a recent business battle where she came through trauma to take hold of victory.
